But it’s not without it’s challenges!

One the reasons that I’ve had challenges with this site and the platform used to create it, is due to the fact that I built it from scratch. I have had to create everything from the background, to the colors, to the images used. It would have been immeasurably easier to have simply created a blog on a site such as blogger.com, or even gone to www.wordpress.com and created a site hosted by Word Press. Instead, I registered my own domain name and installed the software onto my web server. That’s where the problem has been. In doing this, I had to set up everything from scratch. As a result, it’s taken much time and effort for me to figure out even simple things, such as how to customize the font and font size when writing blog entries. I am not a computer programmer, though I do have a decent amount of computer software knowledge. Anyway, I say all this to say that I’ve become more familiar with the platform, so you will soon be seeing some minor tweaks and changes. You will notice that this font size is slightly larger than what I’ve used in the past – again – a Word Press tweak that I had to enable and configure! I hope that everyone had a great Christmas! Ours was busy as usual, with much traveling as has become the norm. I’ve posted a few pictures in a separate blog post. I hope that everyone has a blessed 2015.

Until next time,

“The Future is, of all things, the thing least like eternity.
